AU: Coronavirus death toll rises to 1,390 in Africa and 31,023 in continent

Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has revealed  that there are now 31,023 confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in 52 countries across Africa reported by The Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.

The agency made this known  in a tweet on its official Twitter on Sunday.

The tweet said, COVID-19 has killed 1,390 people in Africa, as 9,328 patients have recovered from the pandemic in the continent.

The 52 AfricanUnion Member States reporting 31, 023 cases, 1,390 deaths, and a total of 9,328 recoveries.

The CDC COVID-19 dashboard showed Egypt,  Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Cameroon have continued to top the list of countries with the highest reported Coronavirus cases by (CDC).

the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced another 81 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the rise to 1,273 the number of confirmed cases in the country.

African Continent needs to be careful in dealing with COVID-19 and adapt to the precautionary measures stated by medical professionals.
