Jamie Vardy bounced back from last week's blank to open the scoring with Riyad Mahred doubling the hosts' lead before Loic Remy pulled one back

Leicester returned to the top of the Premier League table with a 2-1 win over Chelsea at the King Power Stadium to pile more pressure onto boss Jose Mourinho.
Both sides suffered early setbacks as Danny Drinkwater and Eden Hazard were withdrawn with injuries after 17 and 31 minutes respectively.
The Foxes opened the scoring shortly after the half-hour mark as the league's top scorer Jamie Vardy netted in his sixth consecutive home game.
Chelsea, who hadn't been at the races at all in the first half, conceded a second shortly after the restart as Riyad Mahrez turned Cesar Azpilicueta inside out to double their lead with a curling effort.

 

The Blues grew into the game after going 2-0 down and were rewarded for their efforts as Loic Remy scored with 13 minutes left, but it proved too little, too late.
